Cruciate Surgery to Help Your Dog Move Comfortably

Cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) injuries restrict mobility and diminish the quality of life of our companions. Extracapsular surgery from Veterinary Medical Associates repairs painful cruciate injuries and gets dogs back to normal activities faster than other orthopedic surgeries.

Many surgeries used to repair these injuries require up to 16 weeks of recovery. The technique used by our Modesto veterinarians can have your pup walking on the surgical leg in as little as two weeks and back to normal function in as little as four weeks.

About Extracapsular Surgery

Welcome to Veterinary Medical Associates

  • Very good experience. I took my Eclectus Parrot in for a beak and nail trim and it went without a hitch. The staff and doctor are both very friendly and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back when the need comes. Thank you.
